You don’t see it every day but you do see it just before every keynote. It’s tradition. The site goes quiet during the keynote and then springs to life in a new form afterwards. It’s kind of like the chocolate shop is temporarily closed to rearrange things while Willy Wonka makes a speech.
The Apple store is live again and reflects the new products Apple announced. See Engadget or one of the other Apple watchers for a complete round up of the new products.
